I’ve decided to shut down the C2M blog. Honestly it’s sort of a joke anyway. Every single one of the affiliate network blogs I’ve seen are complete jokes as well. When I look at them I cant help but to laugh uncontrollably. Of course, every network blog out there also probably has some sort of “social specialist” that they hired to come in and post stupid shit about what their company is eating for lunch whereas I am not one of those types.
2 years ago and up until last year, a blog was THE way to stay connected with people. With the introductions to Facebook and Twitter though a blog is becoming increasingly “depreciated”. I used to blog and I loved it because I would read every day of other bloggers in my industry doing the same. My, has the apple fallen far from the tree. With the exception of some, the blogosphere in the CPA Industry has made my life a helleva a lot easier in the morning. I used to cruise to see what everyone was writing about every morning and generally spend an hour reading. It’s come down to less than 5 minutes now with the 5 blogs I checkout.
Here’s the funny part too. The 5 blogs I DO read have gone on to do some incredible things. (I know this for sure because they were publishers of mine). So, they dont write all that much because they are busy working. Seems like I almost owe it to them to read up on them everyday after all the hardwork they do.
HERE”S THE TWISTER
I run a very aggressive publisher program. It’s no secret about “our 60 day” rule. I dont even want to comment on how many publishers we’ve allowed to signup who have a blog and turned out to be completely full of it. The number is absolutely staggering.
Another part is finding some of your publishers using the info YOU gave them and make blog posts out of it and share it publically. Never mind even giving it a try and making some money themselves, let’s just give it to everyone.
So in short, the C2M blog could be used for news events and things like that, but again, …boring. I’m unstrapping the blog from my back and you will be able to catch me in the forum for now on. Which by the way brings me to this next part, we will be closing the forum down and only allowing publishers from Convert2media to participate as well. This keeps us private and will allow our publishers to get more use out of the information without a bunch of newbs stealing it and driving up bid prices everywhere.
(Edit Getting flooded with donts, just post whenever) Ok so the blog is in turmoil, will possibly be used as a news source or something but dont expect much.
