More Google desperate attempts to create more revenue sources keep me happy in pants. Seriously, with all the declining stock talk the pressures on the big G to make some things happen. Now that Youtube has their own sponsored video advertising platform this could help them out. The damn site gets more traffic than heaven. This I can tell you right now, is a blogger blessing. I seriously kid you not. I made a few videos as a blogger last year and with the small amount of views I got (into the thousands), I got a ton of visitors. Seriously, if you ever wanted to create a membership site on teaching people how to make money online, Youtube is a damn fine place to do it.

Not that we are interested in that though right? Seriously, that sounds like a little bit of work and building something for the long term. Pffftt. You came here to get some ideas on how to generate revenue fast with Youtube right?

I would suppose you have been to that point in a Search Marketing Campaign where you have weeded out the crap keywords and mined the data down to only finding the keywords that convert profitably for you. During this time you are probably thinking on how to scale the campaign further to extend the profit margins. One of the mistakes a lot of new Pay Per Click Marketers make is not understanding the small things like the mechanics and workings of a Google Adwords Account.

Here’s a little tip:

After mining non-performing keywords and only settling for the converting keywords it’s now time to start the process all over again in search of even more lucrative terms. When doing this you can go about it with a multitude of options but for the novice, they are likely to not have a couple of dozen PPC accounts. Generally, they will have one and work thru the woes of the Adwords Accounts mechanics. One question that I have seen repeated time and time again is:

I added more keywords to my campaign, but now my impressions and clicks and profit are down for the keywords that I already had running, what happened and how do I fix it?

The simple scenario here is that when you added more keywords, you probably forgot to allocate your budget accordingly to reflect and adjust to the new keywords. By simply upping your budget each time you add more keywords, you will start to get a feel on how much you need to go up each time.
