UPDATE – Apparently the board is still reviewing whether or not Dennis Yu will be speaking (out of his ass). So I hope this post helps for the Summit to do the right thing. Although, from what I know, I have no idea why the hell it needs to be discussed. Let’s do the right thing here and have Shoe, who’s been doing these panels forever and helps more and more affiliates with each speech make more money. The only thing Dennis has been doing is pissing people off and anyone that is making serious money, knows he’s full of shit. Over and out.
This is an open request to Affiliate Summit asking that they put Shoemoney back on the Facebook Advertising Panel. I just got word that Shoe is withdrawing from the Affiliate Summit Facebook Panel. I’m going to keep this as civil and as professional as possible which I hope Affiliate Summit will appreciate because if Dennis Yu stays on the panel, I assure you what comes from me next is going to become SERIOUSLY ugly.
Let’s cut the bullshit right quick and get right to it. No other Affiliate Network is going to step and say anything. Lack of balls, or “my brand will be tarnished” comes to mind very quickly. However, my company is exhibiting at Affiliate Summit, we love the Summit. I’ve got plans on sending employees to this panel personally and AS ALWAYS, Convert2media is recommending certain panels to our affiliates to attend.
I cannot recommend this panel. As a matter of fact, I have to condemn it. Has it seriously come to Jeremy dropping out and listening to a liar? I’ll put this plainly without revealing confidential information that Jeremy dropping out and Dennis staying on is a monumental mistake by the Summit.
As the days go on, if Dennis continues to stay on this panel, I assure you that I will be releasing information showing how monumental this mistake will be. I dont know how this shit has gone on for so long or why he would even be considered. I wont put anyone on the spot here, I dont want an answer to that question because any one that you might offer is quickly going to be shut down and I assure you, you will get embarrassed. So how about it, can we do the right thing here? If not the RIGHT thing, do it for the people going to Affiliate Summit because allowing this man to talk out of his ass and AFFILIATE SUMMIT approving it will be an enormous mistake and the syndication of such a mistake will be enormous.
So let’s sort this mess out please.
PS – We need comments here people. I dont care if you want to participate or not. Allowing this scumbag on the panel is like listening to someone who doesnt know what they are talking about. As an affiliate you are probably PAYING to attend the Summit. Should you pay for information that is going to harm your business versus improve it?

Affiliate Convention is starting tomorrow! This year’s West Coast Convention is being held Dec 3-4 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Both Michael D and I will be in attendance. Michael is heading out to LA today while I will be leaving at 6am tomorrow for the show.
From the exhibitor list it looks like a whole bunch of networks looking to whore themselves out to the 84% (self-proclaimed) Affiliate attendee list that has been visiting the show. If 84% of the attendees ARE in fact affiliates, you will probably catch me acting unprofessional by standing near the booths with the most affiliates around them and letting them know how full of shit the people they are talking too, truly are. Hate it or love it, it is what it is. If you would like to meet up, give us a shout!

I’ve decided to shut down the C2M blog. Honestly it’s sort of a joke anyway. Every single one of the affiliate network blogs I’ve seen are complete jokes as well. When I look at them I cant help but to laugh uncontrollably. Of course, every network blog out there also probably has some sort of “social specialist” that they hired to come in and post stupid shit about what their company is eating for lunch whereas I am not one of those types.
2 years ago and up until last year, a blog was THE way to stay connected with people. With the introductions to Facebook and Twitter though a blog is becoming increasingly “depreciated”. I used to blog and I loved it because I would read every day of other bloggers in my industry doing the same. My, has the apple fallen far from the tree. With the exception of some, the blogosphere in the CPA Industry has made my life a helleva a lot easier in the morning. I used to cruise to see what everyone was writing about every morning and generally spend an hour reading. It’s come down to less than 5 minutes now with the 5 blogs I checkout.
Here’s the funny part too. The 5 blogs I DO read have gone on to do some incredible things. (I know this for sure because they were publishers of mine). So, they dont write all that much because they are busy working. Seems like I almost owe it to them to read up on them everyday after all the hardwork they do.
HERE”S THE TWISTER
I run a very aggressive publisher program. It’s no secret about “our 60 day” rule. I dont even want to comment on how many publishers we’ve allowed to signup who have a blog and turned out to be completely full of it. The number is absolutely staggering.
Another part is finding some of your publishers using the info YOU gave them and make blog posts out of it and share it publically. Never mind even giving it a try and making some money themselves, let’s just give it to everyone.
So in short, the C2M blog could be used for news events and things like that, but again, …boring. I’m unstrapping the blog from my back and you will be able to catch me in the forum for now on. Which by the way brings me to this next part, we will be closing the forum down and only allowing publishers from Convert2media to participate as well. This keeps us private and will allow our publishers to get more use out of the information without a bunch of newbs stealing it and driving up bid prices everywhere.
(Edit Getting flooded with donts, just post whenever) Ok so the blog is in turmoil, will possibly be used as a news source or something but dont expect much.

C2M is packed and ready to head to New York City for yet another November Adtech show. However, this year we are exhibiting and in true C2M fashion will be slamming the kegs like usual. We expect you to help out. Stop by Booth #2116 and let’s talk money.
