It’s upon us. I’m finally sorted out and ready to go. Let it be known that Convert2Media will be the first network to stream live publisher training sessions. The rest of who follow (if anyone even will) will always be second. If I remember correctly, Second is the first loser. We’ll leave it at that. This will be live streaming and pretty much whatever I want to do. I’ve scheduled 3 question type sessions for July. In the blog at the beginning of each week, I will write up a post asking for specific questions you may ask and I will respond with. Serious questions will be the only ones considered.
I’ve streamed a couple of times now and I will tell you that if there is any screwing around, I’m going to ban. I’m not going to ban you temporarily, I’m going to ban your username permanently. Please dont waste my time or anyone else’s time in the chat. From pruning the network over the last few months, I would like to think that I have banned and terminated all of the jackasses from within. Time will tell I guess to see if I can get another one.
There will be 6 Broadcast Training Sessions in July. These will most likely be pretty lengthy. Here are the sessions and topics for the broadcasts. I will be streaming from the C2M uStream (/convert2media).
- July 11th 4:00pm - Q & A Sessions - Please start sending any and all questions from now until Saturday in regards to affiliate marketing. I will cover them all on Saturday July 11th starting at 4:00pm.
- July 14th 8:00 pm - Pay Per Click Strategies - I assure you. You do not want to miss this one if you are a Search Engine Marketer.
- July 19th 8:00pmĀ - Q & A Session
- July 22nd 8:00 pm - Display And Media Strategies
- July 26th 8:00 pm - Q & A Session
- July 29th 8:00 pm - Basic Affiliate Strategies (Cashflow, Offer Selection etc.)
If you are not following my Twitter or the C2M Twitter, then start following it so you will know the day of the castings of where I will be at. Between the Florida office and Kansas Offices, I travel alot so times will fluctuate between Eastern and Central.
Please email your questions to ruck at convert2media.com
See you then!

Thanks for being the only network that gives out great advice to their affiliates. Can’t wait to watch the training sessions.

Do we post the questions here or just email you?

Great news!! I assume those won’t be recorded to avoid re-distribution outside of C2M which kinda sucks as Im going to the stupid wedding this Sat. but hopufully I’ll be able to come “fashionably late” hehe

“cpldealer” makes a great point. i hope theres a way to get ahold of the info if we are somehow not able to make it on or stay on to the session. Im really looking forward to the PPC one…

Please record them Ruck so I dont have to stay awake 24h to see your streams. Recording would be great for us non US publishers…

Technically I think A4D was first with A4DHelp.com, but hey, who’s counting?
Can’t wait to see where this goes - and will there be recorded sessions we can view later?

@Tipjar - You might be right. Those what 6 posts are a ton of help? I’ve owned my own communities for over 2 years now. Specifically talking about video broadcasting. Read closer umm k.

Don’t forget the cam in Kansas!
July 8th, 2009 @10:12 pm
I’m assuming all those times are EST? Could you confirm that?
Thanks.
July 8th, 2009 @10:14 pm
K, I saw that you said they’ll fluctuate between EST and CST, but it would be nice to be able to block out times so we could participate… is there any way you could be a little more precise?

Scheduled to be in the Florida offices from the 17th-26th so I would say that the 19th and 22nd would be eastern. I travel a lot and things come up suddenly. I’m broadcasting on my time and not company time so that’s as bout as specific as I can be bud.

Ruck this is great. I loved your last one. Is there a limit still on the amount of people who can view the stream at one time?
July 10th, 2009 @1:50 am
@Ruck - the 11th July 4pm session, is it CST?
It’ll be the middle of the night in my neck of the woods and I plan to attend. Just want to make sure I set my alarm to go off at the right time.
Tks.

Also wanted to add that I’m glad you’ve put them in the evening, as that’s early morning here.
Couldn’t make the one today but will definitely be a part of the other ones.
